Hi everyone!  Moriah here.

Every season ADA posts a new challenge for it’s members to participate in to get those creative juices flowing.  Artists can use whatever mediums they feel comfortable with but must create a doll based on the Challenge theme.

Our Spring 2012 theme is Vintage Circus/Sideshow.  Members are asked to travel back in time to create dolls reflecting any of the many cast of characters from circuses, carnivals, and sideshows of long ago.

When I think of this theme, the HBO series “Carnivale” comes to mind.  So does the movie, “Water for Elephants”.  Another great source of eye candy for this theme comes to mind as well…  ”The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus“, starring Heath Ledger.

I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!  Check back each month for new updates and pics of the dolls created for this challenge.
